Watercolor & Ink Painting - Found

Apple A Day Series No. 18
7 x 7"
Watercolor with ink on Saunders Waterford 300# Rough

On this one, I decided to play with curves. Curvy lines, curvy shapes...if they made curvy colors, I'd have used them. Working in some straight lines would have spiced it up, but that wasn't the mood I was shooting for, and why not try a painting without straight? It's against the rules, so it was time to try it.

I also wanted high key, so I asked my yellow apple to pose and choose the setting. Apparently yellow delicious apples (organic, no less) are beach bums and adore searching for seashells. Who'd have thought it? This is for Betty and my time with her on-Cape beach-walking and talking and finding small treasures.
